rudelinux is my (Rick) brainchild. It was created partly as something for me to do, partly to scratch an itch that no other distro can scratch. The goal is to have a distro that is a bastard child of Arhclinux's ABS, and the Sourge Mage/SMGL/Lunar line of distros. I am a minimalist, and a simpleist and this distro will follow my ethos.

For now, it has 3 main tools. The package installer "fuck", the packager remover "unfuck" and the package queryer, "wtf". I'm aware of the conflict in names and have been pondering ways to resolve this.

Obviously we are quite young (in terms of software, and maturity), so don't expect a full feature set any time soon. I will be following "release early, release often", so I probably wouldn't use this on something important either.

I would eventually like to have a nice full featured stable installer, but not at the price of speed and simplicity. Those are my top priorities, in the software and in the distro as a whole.
